NPL – Nepal Premier League 2024: Live Streaming, Schedule, and Squad
The first edition of the Nepal Premier League – NPL 2024 is scheduled to kick off on Saturday (November 30), featuring eight teams competing for the championship.
The Nepal Premier League (NPL) will consist of a total of 32 matches, all taking place at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
This year’s tournament will include eight teams: Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, Sudurpaschim Royals, and Chitwan Rhinos.
Nepal cricket has made significant strides in recent years, and to further promote the sport, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has introduced the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The collaboration between Brand Logic, Dish Media Network, and Action Sports represents a major milestone for Nepali cricket. By making the NPL matches available on a global platform like YouTube, the sport’s appeal is set to increase, inspiring a new generation of cricket fans both in Nepal and internationally.
Nepal Premier League Live Streaming and Broadcasting Rights
The Nepal Premier League – NPL 2024 will be broadcasted live across various platforms, including YouTube, TV channels, and streaming apps.
Star Sports Network has secured the television rights for NPL 2024, allowing fans in both India and Nepal to watch the matches live on Star Sports channels.
In India, fans can enjoy live streaming through FanCode, where they can purchase passes via the FanCode app or website to watch the matches online.
In Nepal, the tournament will be available for streaming on the Action Sports HD YouTube channel and the DishHome Go app, providing easy access for local viewers.
While cricket fans around the world can access all the matches live on Smartcric, Crictime, and Touchcric.
Nepal Premier League Schedule 2024
The league will follow a round-robin format, with each team competing in seven matches. The top four teams will move on to the playoffs.
The team finishing in third place will take on the fourth-placed team in the Eliminator, while the top two teams will meet in Qualifier 1.
The winner of the Eliminator will then go up against the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2. The final match is set for December 21.
